Originally from Great Falls, Ms. St. Lawrence builds on her prior experience clerking with the Office of Counsel in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, and working on Clean Water Act permitting with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality in providing services to her clients. In addition to on-the-job experience with regulatory agencies, Ms. St. Lawrence’s legal education emphasized natural resources and environmental law, and she received a certificate in those practice areas along with her J.D. Ms. St. Lawrence returned to Montana in 2004 and practiced law at Doney Crowley Payne Bloomquist PC in Helena until 2012. She then managed her own practice prior to joining the Bloomquist Law Firm in 2015.

Ms. St. Lawrence practices primarily in water rights, natural resources, environmental law, and administrative law, serving business, development, and agricultural clients in regulatory and litigation matters before state administrative agencies and federal and state courts of all levels. In addition to transactional and trial work, Ms. St. Lawrence is well-versed in appellate practice, having handled appeals on both the state and federal level on a variety of property and natural resource issues, including oral argument before the Montana Supreme Court. Ms. St. Lawrence also spearheads Bloomquist Law Firm’s government relations work, representing both business organizations and non-profit interests before the Montana Legislature for over a decade. In addition to legislative representation, Ms. St. Lawrence represents government affairs clients before state administrative agencies and local governing authorities. Her broad range of governmental affairs clients and commitment to advocacy has enabled her to build working relationships across the aisle and with a number of allied industry and interest groups that serve her clients well in successfully pursuing their policy goals.
